He has devoted 33+ years of his life to the Music, Entertainment and Recording Industry; honing his craft working in the fields of; Radio; Marketing; Promotions; Artist Management, Concert Tour Management & Production; Operational Management; Concept Development; Content Acquisition; Film; Public Relations; Bookings and Business Management with several Entertainment & Music entities.

His love for Music and the Entertainment Industry has led to his close, personal and professional affiliations; connections and business dealings across the Music & Entertainment spectrum. These professional dealings are from which became the ideal spawning ground for this vibrant Executive. His expertise; experience and business acumen will be a significant addition and influence for TMI’s direction based on his know-how and attributes with regards to the business of music across multiple disciplines.

Geoffrey Roberts –

Introducing Mr. Roberts; “I feel like for my whole life music was my destiny. My mom sang around the house and had what I thought then was a large collection. I can even remember listening to her Miriam Makeba album, liking the voice but not understanding the language; to this day, I am into strong vocals and the sound of unique instruments”.

As part of the Cheer Pool, he was able to get the new releases into the hands of the DeeJays in all the hottest Night Clubs and he also arranged the “in-person” appearances at will – “I guess I was an influencer and didn’t even know it”. “I learned a lot working in Public Relations; about Public Relations. As a reviewer, I was able to recognize a hit record almost at the very first pass. My access to film & video sets gave me a better understanding of other facets of the Music Industry.

Charles Lewis is Vice President of A&R for The Underground Railroad Network Muzik Inc. (TURN MUZIK INC) (TMI). Canada’s newest record label Music and Entertainment Company. Charles has spent the majority of his career in various areas of Electronic music, from  A&R, management, tour management, festival and the NightClub Industry. Finding “96” was instrumental in his pivot from the Electronic to Urban music genre. This Is Vertical Management was started when Charles recognized a void and need for skilled management for artists.  Most importantly, management who possessed the knowledge and ability to connect clients to key industry people and companies for career development and financial growth. The goal is to keep Canadian talent at home by providing artists with the necessary tools to make it into the lucrative US and international markets.

Michael Akuamoah-Boateng –
VP  Creative Design & Multimedia

Michael Akuamoah-Boateng is Vice President of Creative Design & Multimedia for The Underground Railroad Network Muzik Inc. (TURN MUZIK INC) (TMI). Canada’s newest record label Music and Entertainment Company.

He brings special unique experience as the creative director at Boathaus Studio, with specialized skills in Graphic Design, Typography, User Interface Design & Web Design.

Michael is in the business of helping his clients tell their stories well through design. As a visual communicator, he listens, learns, and develops a profound understanding of his client’s needs, then applies his experience and expertise to deliver effective, innovative, and creative solutions in communicating his clients’ goals to help sell their brand.
